Your main responsibilities:

  • Create, manage, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for various services.

  • Configure, manage and scale our AWS infrastructure.

  • Utilize Kubernetes, Ansible, Helm, Kustomize, ArgoCD and Docker for automated deployments, scaling, and management of containerized applications.

  • Manage cloud infrastructure via Infrastructure as Code.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within our development, test, and production environments.

  • Maintain and optimize our databases and network systems.

  • Manage high-frequency systems.

We have three offices, one in Valletta, one in Amsterdam and one in Novi Sad. We do many company events and have fun building the ETPA platform together. We are searching for a DevOps Engineer who will join the local team in Malta. This role is office based with the opportunity to work from home on Friday. Please note that we do not offer relocation as part of the hiring process.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer or similar role in a Software Development setting.

  • Experience working with cloud providers, ideally AWS, and strong knowledge of Cloud provider services such as EKS, EC2s, ALBs, VPC and APIGWs.

  • Experience in building scalable and highly-available infrastructure.
    Experience in using versioned source control to manage code changes.

  • Familiar with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), open-source APIGWs and reverse proxies such as Traefik.

  • Experience with the open-source monitoring stack of Prometheus/Grafana as well as with cloud-based monitoring platforms such as Datadog.

  • Ability to write scripts in Bash, Python or similar.

  • Knowledge of CloudFormation or Terraform.

  • Understanding of the different deployment strategies.

  • Experience in managing Linux distributions and networking.
