ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a German-speaking Business Developer to join Etpa’s fast-growing international commercial team. You will work on various projects in parallel, gaining invaluable experience while contributing to the company’s growth. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring trends in the power market to inform strategic decisions. Initially focused on the German electricity markets.

  • Collecting and analyzing data to support business initiatives.

  • Identifying potential sales opportunities from multiple sources.

  • Proactively reaching out to potential partners and participants to present and discuss Etpa’s proposition.

You will also leverage insights from economics, technology, and policy to enhance product marketing and contribute to academic content for our website.

ABOUT YOU

  • A master’s degree in engineering, economics, or business, preferably at the intersection of business and (energy) engineering

  • 1-6 years of working experience in business development

  • Fluency in German and English is required

  • Ability to commute to our Amsterdam office

  • Experience in the (German) electricity market is a big plus.

  • A valid work permit for the European Union

  • An analytical mindset and a proactive approach

  • Interest in the energy (transition) sector is essential

Etpa is a designated European Power Exchange for the short-term electricity market. Our state-of-the-art platform is a key enabler for the transition to renewable energy.
